*League fee*
To participate in our Gears league you must pay a league fee. For season 1 the amount due is $5.00. To pay this click on the donate button located on the top left of the website. Make a note in the $5.00 payment that it is for "Gears Season 1".
After that you need to make a "discussion topic" in the 3vs3 fourm. Make the discussion subject your gamertag. In this thread is where your personal stats will be updated after each match.
*Team Determination*
1.) Teams will consist of three players. One of them will be assuming the role of team captain.
2.) There will be a ballot to determine the team captains. You will receive your ballot once your dues are paid for the season.
3.) The ballot will list all the people playing in the upcoming season. You will then rank them 1 being the best, 2 being second best and so on till you are out of players. After you are done you will pm the ballot to the league commissioner and he will tally them up. The players with the lowest scores will be our team captains.
4.) Once team captains are selected, a draft will be held, which will determine the teams and home map. To keep the teams as fair as possible, the ballot will also determine the draft order. *
League Play*
1.) There will be one game per week for each team, just like the NFL.
2.) It is the captain's role to coordinate with his teammates and other team captain to determine a playable date and time for that weeks match.
3.) Each play week starts on Monday and ends on the following Sunday.
4.) At least two players (from each team) must show up for the match in order to be eligible to play. If your team does not show up, and the other team did then your team will forfeit the match.
5.) The home team will host the match and decides if they want to be Cog or Locust.
6.) At the end of every match both of these teams will post screenshots on emergenceleague.com by the next Monday morning. If the scores are not posted, then that team gets a forfeit. If both teams do not post the score...they both record a loss.
7.) If the teams do not play during their week, then they both record a loss.
8.) Stats will be tracked for the season and used to determine the next seasons trading of players.
9.) Execution and warzone will not be in the regular season but be saved for the championship and all-star games.
10.) Friendly fire will be on.
